1:1 Technology Initiative Update -
As many of you know, Grass Lake Community Schools has embarked on a project to provide each of our Kindergarten through 12th grade students with a personal computing device (iPad or Chromebook) beginning some time in January, 2017, thanks to a large grant from the Thompson Foundation. A tri-fold brochure has been created to share more information about the project and to announce a flexible schedule of parent meetings that will support the process. Jackson District Library Offers E-Book Library
The Jackson District Library invites Jackson County families to take advantage of their E-Library, which includes E-Books for Kindles, iPads, Nooks, or computers, free downloadable audio files, music, etc. You can also access Tumble Books and Tumble Readers, or you could download 3 songs per week for free. You must have a Jackson District Library card to access these files. Click here to access instructions for gaining access to these resources for Kindles. See Susanne Weible at the Grass Lake Branch of the Jackson District for instructions toward accessing these materials on platforms other than Kindle.
